| I didn't want this monitor, the company send me the wrong one. I was kind da so called Bull_dog -mad. I did have complaint file on the company "Computer Brain". They Had Fast Shipping, but lack of ensure the product is cosumer demand. About the monitor. Even is was not widescreen, but wide lenght is longer than the height by2-4 inch. It pretty big monitor for good price. you can watch movie in widescreen, by had the black bar top/bottom ont the screen, It good for PC Gaming, movie, TV, and Next-Gen Video game console. It had contrast, brightness, and other options to control change the image. Make-sure if you buy for many purpose of used not just one purpose. |

| I was looking for a good value monitor (read: inexpensive) for the office (not my own business). I had heard of this brand before, but didn't know its reputation. I read several reviews on several sites about Hannspree monitors, generally, and about this monitor specifically. Everything I read (except for the very few, seemingly obligatory, reviews about any product that say it's the worst piece of electronics ever sold no matter how many other glowing reviews there are) indicated that the monitor was good equipment and that people were happy with their purchases. I got my for $130.99 with no shipping cost through an Amazon affiliated seller, so it was a good price. The monitor was very plug and play. It has a great, bright picture, and no dead pixels. The only complaint is that the speakers, in my particular monitor, at least, give very tinny sound. Fortunately I rarely need speakers, and these allowed me to clear room on my desk by getting rid of my stand-alone speakers. Since I don't care about the speakers, and I was looking for the increasingly rare normal aspect ratio monitor (the monitor is used primarily for word processing), I am very happy with the purchase (and it is gloriously better than the 7 or 8 year old 17" CRT monitor that it replaced). |
